FNUSALOGO

What is Famous Nobodies?

Famous Nobodies USA is a collection of individuals, personalities, and talent. Ranging from Musicians, DJs, Emcees, Producers, Directors, and Entrepreneurs.

We came together after years of indivdually doing music, and planning events. We figured why compete with eachother when we can do it at a grander scale as a unit. We chose the name Famous Nobodies because it is a perfect description of everyone associated with the camp. We were all very popular among our peers before the music and now that we’ve reached a certain level of success we’ve attracted even more attention.

What are some of the group’s accomplishments thus far?

When our first single “The Jimmie Shoes” music video was released we tallied over one thousand views in a matter of hours, a big accomplishment in such a small city. As the song became more popular we were able to get spins on the radio (hot 97 boston, touch 106, bigciy 101.3, jamn 945). Eventually we were asked to do a radio interview on Hot 97 with the world famous DJ Chubby Chub, which certified the Famous Nobodies as a force in the New England music scene.

What do you hope to accomplish in the music industry?

Our goals are to become as great and successful as we all can be. The sky is the limit.

Out of all the songs that you have recorded which one means the most to you, and why?

“The Jimmie Shoes” means the most to us because that song is the reason why people began to pay attention to us. Before that we were making music for friends and family, now we do it for our entire city.

Bir Witness – Artist of the Month

threes upBir Witness is the true definition of an M.C. He has rocked clubs in Boston, Brooklyn, and even hosted three events of his own as the mastermind behind Money And A Dream Entertainment earning him recognition as a M.C who knows how to not only rock the crowd but build a solid fanbase of 500 in less than two months time with a buzz off doing show’s like he’s on tour and a mixtape entitled Almost Perfect. He has built his brand from the ground up as an engineer, producer, artist/poet, and CEO of an indie label Money And A Dream Records. He is Bir Witness, the dreamer from Roxbury, the poet from Blue Wave, the M.C with a B fitted on strong in New York who stopped looking for a record deal and signed himself.

How did you know that music was your calling?

My first show was in Brooklyn, New York at the 5 spot. I was two songs into my album and got booked for New York. I was definitely representing my city and got respect after a twenty minute set. I felt real confident after that show and rocked 18 more this year. The show’s never stop, they enhance my performance in the studio, and gave me the fuel I needed to accomplish so much this year with cosigns left and right and a hustler’s flow that never slowed down. Even after the radio play I knew I could do this music when I picked up that microphone and rocked crowd after crowd from opening up for Johnathan Gate’s, Bow Wow, and rocking my own concert, rocking Club Pearl on Carribean Night with Hustle Hard, that was crazy, haha. Hustle hard ain’t a reggae/dancehall song, give me props, I know exactly what I’m doing.

Erin Daneele – Lover Boy

On this edition of the Rhoaming Artist of the Month, we have none other then Erin Daneele. Erin is singer, songwriter, and performer, Most recently, she impressed the judges of Gospel Dream, a talent search series on the Gospel Music Channel, and was selected among thousands to participate in the competition! Lets see what Erin has to tell us today!

When and How did you figure out that music was your calling?

I have been singing since the tender age of 2. In highschool, I started writing songs and ever since then knew that music is what I desired to pursue.

What are some of your accomplishments thus far?

God has blessed me with many opportunities and accomplishments. I was selected as a recipient of the Boston City Music Scholarship to the prestigious Berklee College of Music, I’m the writer of a jingle used on Hot 97.7 FM and I was graced with the opportunity to work with Chew Entertainment singing background vocals for pop artist JoJo. Most recently, I was apart of what’s known as the gospel version of “American Idol”, the reality television show “Gospel Dream”.

erin2What are some of your future goal in the music industry?

My future goals are to transcend boundaries and limitations that are prevalent in the music industry today.

What are some trials that you as an artist face?

It is important to build a foundation and stand firm on it. As a young female artist, I have been in many situations where I was challenged and had to set limitations as it pertains to other artists and or fans specifically males. I believe that it is imperative to always maintain professionalism in any environment whether it be on the stage, in the studio etc. It becomes trivial and detrimental to your career as an artist and therefore it is necessary for boundaries to be set on an everyday basis.

Come Back

Lay You Down

Love You

Welcome to My Party

Today we bring you our first installment of the Rhoaming Artist of the Month. To start off we bring you four very talented artists known collaboratively as AHMIR, the self proclaimed Hottest and most popular R&B Group on YouTube based on real stats (i.e. Channel subscribers and
total video views), coming straight out of Boston. With us we have, “Sing-Sing” (from Philadelphia, PA), “Big Mike” from (Harlem, NY), “Mr. Jones” (from Boston, MA) and “KC” (from Rochester, NY).

How did the group come together?

Several years ago, Mr. Jones and Big Mike formed a friendship in Boston based on mutual respect for one another’s talents. Big Mike made his way to Boston by attending Boston University. Michael Cheung, who is the current manager for Ahmir, had also developed a friendship with Mr. Jones while attending Boston University. Before long Mr. Jones, Big Mike and Michael Cheung each shared a vision of developing a male R&B group. Shortly thereafter, Michael Cheung brought in KC through auditions and Sing-Sing was scouted by Big Mike at a show at Berklee College of Music where he was a student. And the rest is history!

What are some of the group’s accomplishments thus far?
